Makeda Kumasi is the founder of WE 3 Productions and the co-founder of the Umoja Ensemble of the Inland Empire. She holds degrees from Cal State Fullerton, USC, and UCR, where she currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education.

She is a multidisciplinary artist and author, her work spans performance, writing and visual art. With recent grants from ACTA and CAC she continues to share global stories through movement and imagery.

Makeda is a guest artist with Caribbean Joy who portrays our beloved Caribbean character; the vivacious and spirited Mother Sally.
